Tropical smoothies have to be one of the best smoothie flavors there is. The mango and pineapple complement each other perfectly, creating an amazing summer drink. This tropical smoothie is packed full of goodness. The coconut water added to this smoothie recipe not only tastes delicious, but it also acts as a natural energy drink the way nature intended. It's one of my favorite smoothies to have after a morning workout.

Wie macht man einen Smoothie?
Making a smoothie is one of the easiest recipes there is. It only takes a couple of minutes of prep and a minute of blending and you're done. The secret to the perfect smoothie is to always add in some frozen fruit. For this recipe, we added frozen bananas and pineapple. Using frozen fruit gives your smoothie a thick and almost creamy texture, just like the smoothies you buy at the famous Tropisches Smoothie-Café.

Not all smoothie blenders are the same. Some blenders just can't handle ice or frozen fruit very well. Here at the Love Food Kitchen, we tend to use a blender with a tamper as it makes light work of smoothie making, and you're not left with having to take the blender lid off and stir all the ingredients back down to the bottom of the cup each time it gets clogged. What is a tamper? You may ask, well, a tamper is an important tool to help push the frozen ingredients down towards the spinning blades of your blender, yet keeping a safe distance so you don't tap off the blades and can remain safe.
The ultimate blender to get would be a Vitamix. I'm very envious of anyone that owns one; it's on my wish list lol. If your budget doesn't allow you to spend that much, the Cozeemax blender looks very similar to the Vitamix and uses a tamper in the same way. Using an individual-sized blender cup is also another great way to make smoothies. The Nutribullet or Ninja smoothie blenders are also a brilliant choice as they come with single-portion cup attachments.
Tropische Smoothie-Ernährung
Smoothies are an excellent way to add fruits and vegetables to your daily diet. The mango and pineapples in this recipe are packed with so many health, immune-boosting nutrients. They're both high in vitamin C, low in calories, and a great source of fiber.
