How to make a smoothie bowl

As far as smoothie bowls go, you can add any fruit and veg combinations together. Add in a little liquid, maybe even a little sweetener such as maple syrup or honey, and that’s your basic smoothie bowl recipe. I always add a mix of fresh and frozen fruit to my smoothie bowls as I love mine thick and creamy. Once you have blended all your ingredients together, simply pour them into a bowl and top with some of your favorite toppings. I normally add berries, granola, or slices of fruit, but it's your breakfast so you can add whatever you like.

Equipment I Use To Make Smoothie's

I use a ninja food processor and blender to make my smoothies. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it's brilliant. I would highly recommend getting one. When I’m making a smoothie bowl for myself I’ll use the cup, but if I’m making enough for the family I’ll use the large jug to blend my ingredients. If you are looking for a smaller blender just to make your own smoothies, Ninja also has a Nutri slim blender and smoothie maker. It’s quite compact, it looks very similar to the Nutri Bullet blender; it has great reviews and has a 5-star rating on Amazon too.

    1. Yes of course you can either just blend your smoothie longer to make it more juicy than thick. Or you can add extra milk or water to thin it down, this can be a great way to consume smoothies over a few hours or meals, it might that quench that mid morning hunger 🙂
