Cherry Bakewell porridge

Ingredients
- 100 Grams Porridge oats
- 600 Milliliters Milk any milk you like
- Pinch Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Soft brown sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Almond extract
Toppings
- 6 Tablespoons Cherry compote
- 2 Tablespoons Flaked almonds
Instructions
- Place the oats, milk, soft brown sugar, and almond extract into a saucepan.100 Grams Porridge oats, 600 Milliliters Milk, 1 Teaspoon Almond extract, 1 Tablespoon Soft brown sugar
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring throughout the cooking process to ensure the porridge cooks evenly.
- A few minutes before it's finished cooking, add a pinch of salt for flavor.Pinch Salt
- When the porridge is done, remove it from the heat and let it stand for a minute.
- Divide the creamy porridge into bowls.
