The Halloween-themed parties are here again, and everyone’s preparing a list of Halloween treats to serve at their spooky buffet tables. This Spooky Witch’s Brew Punch recipe is a huge hit at parties and is always one of the first drinks to disappear from the drinks table. I really should make more of it. This spooky Witch’s punch bowl recipe is incredibly easy to make and requires very little prep time. Simply pour all your juices and lemonade into a bowl, add the juice of 2 limes and throw in a few gummy sweets. It couldn’t be any easier. To be honest, besides the added gummy worms and spiders, it’s actually a pretty healthy punch.
Halloween drink ideas
Many people enjoy different types of drinks, so having several different spooky-themed drinks at the buffet table is a great idea. Here are some Halloween drink recipes I make each year that I know you’ll love. We normally serve a few ice scream Fanta floats to start, these are the kid’s absolute favorite; they’re super simple to prepare and are made up just before you serve. Another kid’s favorite is Toxic fizz, this recipe is kind of a party trick; you layer up different brightly colored fizzy drinks, this Halloween drink also needs to be made up just before you serve to get the full effect as the colors start to merge as the ice melts.
Lastly, Bloody Vampires Punch is made by blending fresh cubes of watermelon and a little fresh mint. It’s really refreshing, served with ice and sometimes even a little dash of vodka for the adults.
Where can I buy a punch bowl?
A punch bowl is not an easy item to find at your local shops, so buying online is probably the way to go. Amazon has a fantastic selection of punch bowls to choose from. This is a lovely large heavy-based glass punch bowl that holds 2.5 US gallons of punch. This would be a great investment if you love hosting parties and get-togethers. This punch bowl is a brilliant all-year-round dish and would be perfect for all occasions from New Year's parties to Halloween parties and everything in between.
What kind of food do you have at a Halloween party?
If you’re hosting a Halloween party this year, you can’t just have a drinks table, you’ll also need some nibbles, too. To make your party extra special and super spooky, here are a few Halloween-themed food ideas for you to add to your buffet table.
Its always good to have a selection of finger foods, things that always disappear fast from the table are:
- Sausages wrapped in pastry, so they look like wrapped mummies.
- Mini pizzas, but have the cheese sliced and cut out with ghost-shaped cookie cutters and used sliced olives for the eyes.
- Guacamole dip served with homemade breadsticks shaped like monster fingers.
Add a few desserts to the table too:
- Candy apples are a great old-fashioned treat that everyone seems to love.
- A selection of Halloween cupcakes. Chocolate Spider Cupcakes, Witches Brew Cupcakes, and Spider web cupcakes are a few Halloween party food favorites.
- Halloween candy trail mix, mix pretzels, nuts, and candy together in a bowl.
- And last but not least, a Halloween celebration cake as a centerpiece always looks amazing on any Halloween buffet table.
