How to Descale Nespresso Vertuo Next?

Now that you have purchased your descaling kits, here is the step by step instructions on how to descale your Vertuo coffee machine.

• First, fill the water tank at the back with 1 packet of Nespresso descaling solution and 500 milliliters of water.
• Place an empty measuring jug at the front to catch wastewater from the descaling process.
• Turn on the machine by plugging it in.
• Turn the lever at the top to unlock the Nespresso machine.
• Hold the button for 7 seconds until it blinks orange.
• Lock it again and unlock it again.
• Hold the button for 7 more seconds until it blinks orange.
• Then finally lock one more time and press the button once.
• The descaling process will start.
• Once the descaling treatment in the tank has run empty, the machine will continue to blink orange. Empty the measuring jug at the front.
• Now remove and clean the tank, and refill with fresh water.
• Replace the tank at the back of the coffee machine and press the button one last time to complete the rinse cycle.
• When the rinse cycle has been completed, it will blink white and then stay white.
  Now it’s time to make a coffee.
