Chocolate, Raspberry & Marshmallow Cone S’mores

These raspberry Cone s’mores are one of those treats that can be enjoyed any time of year. I make these in the summer for an after-BBQ treat, in the autumn when we are sitting around the fire pit, and on occasion I’ve even made these as a movie night snack. As a family we all love different variations of this melted gorgeous gooey treat. I love to add squares of brownie to mine, my boys love peanut butter and the girls love the chocolate and raspberries combo. It’s great making s’mores in cones as it crates less mess and you can avoid getting sticky fingers.

Cone s’mores couldn’t be any easier to make, Simply fill your waffle cone with marshmallows and a few of your favorite treats. Next wrap each filled cone tightly with foil making sure there are no gaps, you don’t want your melted s’mores to leak out while their cooking. Cook over a BBQ grill or campfire for about five minutes. Remove from the heat, wait a couple of minutes before unwrapping them as the foil will be super-hot. When the marshmallows and chocolate melt together it becomes a splendid gooey treat that we all call s’mores. Absolute perfection.

What are smores?

Smores are a popular campfire treat, its made up of marshmallows and squares of chocolate sandwiched between two Graham crackers. To make traditional smores first you toast your marshmallow over the campfire , once your marshmallow is lovely and gooey, grab yourself two graham crackers and squares of chocolate and sandwich the hot sticky marshmallow between them. The warmth from the marshmallow will then melt the chocolate chunks leaving you with the best campfire dessert ever.

Can I buy graham crackers in the UK?

Graham crackers are an American biscuit which are not sold in the UK supermarkets. Grahams crackers are a sweet American biscuit which is typically used to make smores, cheesecake bases and crumbled onto desserts. The closest biscuit we have in the UK would be our famous Digestive biscuit. I have however found these graham crackers on Amazon, it comes with free delivery to Amazon Prime members too.
