Grilled Cheese and Ham Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 Slices Sourdough bread
- 2 Tablespoons Salted butter
- 30 Grams Medium cheddar cheese
- 2 Slices Honey roast ham
- 1 Teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Spread butter on all four sides of each slice of bread.2 Slices Sourdough bread, 2 Tablespoons Salted butter
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the bread slices in the skillet and toast lightly for about 1 minute to warm them and create a light crust.
- Flip one slice of bread and layer on the cheese followed by the slices of ham.30 Grams Medium cheddar cheese, 2 Slices Honey roast ham
- Add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard and spread over the ham.1 Teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Place the other slice of bread on top, with the hot toasted side facing the cheese.
- Cook the sandwich for 2-3 minutes or until the bread is evenly golden and crisp, pressing down lightly with a spatula occasionally.
- Turn the sandwich over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes or until the bread is golden and the cheese has fully melted.
- Transfer the sandwich to a chopping board, cut it in half, and enjoy.
