Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients
- 300 Millilters watermelon juice
- 37 Millilters lime juice
- 71 Grams silver tequila 5 Tablespoons
- Lime sea salt optional for lining rim
- Handful of ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the watermelon juice by cutting fresh watermelon into chunks and blending until smooth. Strain the juice through a mesh strainer to remove the pulp and measure out 300 ml.300 Millilters watermelon juice
- If you prefer a salted rim, moisten the rim of your margarita glasses with a lime wedge. Dip the rims into a shallow dish of lime sea salt and set aside.Lime sea salt
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the watermelon juice, lime juice, and silver tequila. Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker.37 Millilters lime juice, 71 Grams silver tequila, Handful of ice cubes, 300 Millilters watermelon juice
- Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well-chilled. Strain the mixture into prepared margarita glasses over ice or serve neat if preferred.
- Optionally, garnish with a slice of lime or a small watermelon wedge on the rim of each glass. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing watermelon margarita!
Notes
- For the best flavor, use fresh watermelon juice. Store-bought juice is fine, but ensure it's 100% juice without added sugar.
- Silver tequila pairs best with watermelon for its clean, crisp taste.
- Add simple syrup or agave nectar if you prefer a sweeter margarita.
- Chill your margarita glasses in the freezer before serving for an extra refreshing drink.
