  • 300 Millilters watermelon juice
  • 37 Millilters lime juice
  • 71 Grams silver tequila 5 Tablespoons
  • Lime sea salt optional for lining rim
  • Handful of ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the watermelon juice by cutting fresh watermelon into chunks and blending until smooth. Strain the juice through a mesh strainer to remove the pulp and measure out 300 ml.

  • If you prefer a salted rim, moisten the rim of your margarita glasses with a lime wedge. Dip the rims into a shallow dish of lime sea salt and set aside.

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the watermelon juice, lime juice, and silver tequila. Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker.

  • Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well-chilled. Strain the mixture into prepared margarita glasses over ice or serve neat if preferred.

  • Optionally, garnish with a slice of lime or a small watermelon wedge on the rim of each glass. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing watermelon margarita!

Notes

Tips and Tricks
  • For the best flavor, use fresh watermelon juice. Store-bought juice is fine, but ensure it's 100% juice without added sugar.
  • Silver tequila pairs best with watermelon for its clean, crisp taste.
  • Add simple syrup or agave nectar if you prefer a sweeter margarita.
