Place the 50g of oats into a saucepan then add 300mls of milk.
50 g Porridge oats, 300 milliliters Milk
Then simply bring your porridge to the boil and at this stage add your pinch of salt. Then let the porridge simmer for 3-4 minutes, keep stirring through the whole cooking process so that the porridge cooks evenly.
⅛ tsp Salt
When it is finished cooking remove it from the heat and let it stand for a minute.
Grab yourself a bowl and fill it with the beautiful creamy porridge.
You can eat your perfect porridge like this or you can top it with some of your favorite toppings. My favorite topping for porridge is definitely golden syrup.
