Instructions
First, add 250 milliliters (1 cup) of milk to a measuring jug.

Next, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into the measuring jug.

Stir and let the mixture rest for at least 5 to 10 minutes.
After a couple of minutes, you'll see the milk starts curdling and small lumps will form. Now that the milk is curdled your homemade buttermilk is ready to use.

Tops & TricksYou can use vinegar in place of the tablespoon of lemon juice if you prefer, they both curdle the milk in the same way.Use your favorite milk, whether it be cow's milk, soy, or nut milk. The curdling process will work in the same way.
