Instructions
Add the chopped banana, blueberries, pitted cherries, Greek yogurt, and honey to a zip-top freezer bag.
1 medium banana,
½ cup blueberries,
1 cup cherries,
1 cup Greek yogurt,
1 tablespoon honey
Press out as much air as possible, then seal the bag tightly.
Place the smoothie pack in the freezer until ready to use.
When ready to make the smoothie, add the frozen contents of the bag to a blender.
If the mixture is stuck in the bag, run the outside of the bag briefly under warm water to loosen it.
Pour in the coconut water.
1 cup coconut water
Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Add a little more coconut water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
Pour into a glass and serve right away.
Notes
Tips and Tricks
Add the coconut water only when you are ready to blend.
Pressing the air out of the bag helps protect the smoothie pack in the freezer.
Chop the banana before freezing so it blends more easily.
Use pitted cherries so the smoothie is ready to blend straight from the freezer.
If the smoothie is too thick, add extra coconut water a little at a time.
Blend until fully smooth for the best texture.
Serve right away after blending for the freshest flavor.
