or coconut water (added when ready to blend)
Instructions
Peel the banana and add it to a quart-size zip-top freezer bag.

Add the raspberries to the same bag.
½ cup raspberries
Press out as much air as possible, then seal the bag tightly.
Place the smoothie pack in the freezer until ready to use.
When ready to make the smoothie, add the frozen contents of the bag to a blender.
If the fruit is stuck in the bag, run the outside of the bag briefly under warm water to loosen it.
Pour in the coconut milk or coconut water.
1 cup coconut milk
Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Add a little more liquid if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
Pour into a glass and serve right away.
Notes
Tips and Tricks
Add the coconut milk or coconut water only when ready to blend.
Pressing the air out of the bag helps protect the fruit in the freezer.
Use a ripe banana for the best natural sweetness.
Coconut milk gives a creamier smoothie, while coconut water makes it lighter.
If the smoothie is too thick, add extra liquid a little at a time.
Blend until completely smooth for the best texture.
