Instructions
Add the avocado, kiwi, banana, cucumber, plain yogurt, and honey to a quart-size zip-top freezer bag.
1 banana,
¼ avocado,
1 kiwi,
¼ cucumber,
½ cup plain yogurt,
½ teaspoon honey
Press out as much air as possible, then seal the bag tightly.
Place the smoothie pack in the freezer until ready to use.
When ready to make the smoothie, add the frozen contents of the bag to a blender.
If the ingredients are stuck in the bag, run the outside of the bag briefly under warm water to loosen them.
Pour in the coconut water.
1 cup coconut water
Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Add a little more coconut water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
Pour into a glass and serve right away.
Notes
Tips and Tricks
Add the coconut water only when you are ready to blend.
Pressing the air out of the bag helps protect the smoothie pack in the freezer.
Slice the kiwi and cucumber before freezing so they blend more easily.
Honey is optional. Add it if you want a slightly sweeter smoothie.
If the smoothie is too thick, add extra coconut water a little at a time.
Blend until completely smooth for the best texture.
